1. Modify: The Primary View
By default, students see neither the questions, their answers, nor any feedback written for specific questions after they submit a quiz. You can release that information to them by modifying the default quiz results view.
- Click to expand the Evaluation & Feedback section.
- Keep the Attempt grade checkbox selected if you would like learners to see their attempt grade upon submitting the quiz.
Note: If you plan to manually grade any part of the quiz, we recommend that you do not select the Attempt grade. If this option is selected, the score shown to participants will reflect the zeroes D2L assigns to questions that it cannot autograde.
- Select the dropdown menu to choose Quiz Results Display options.
- Choose one of the following:
- No questions
- Incorrect questions only, with correct answers: students see only the questions they answered incorrectly with question answers
- Incorrect questions only, without correct answers: students see only the questions they answered incorrectly without question answers
- All questions, with correct answers: students see questions they answered (correctly or not), along with question answers
- All questions, without correct answers: students see all questions in the quiz without question answers
Note: Question-level feedback will show along with the question for whichever questions you allow to show - regardless of whether or not the correct answer is also displayed.
- Select the Customize Quiz Results Displays button.
- Select Edit View.
- If you wish, you can change the default message that students receive upon submitting their quiz.
- Choose one of the following options for Questions:
- Don't show
- All questions
- Incorrect questions only with learner's responses

2. Add: Additional Views
This option has extra features. For example, it allows you to limit when or how long students can see a quiz after they have taken it.
Note: You must check "Auto-publish attempt results immediately upon completion" if students are to see the quiz results view upon submitting their quiz.
- Click to expand the Evaluation & Feedback section.
- Click the Customize Quiz Results Displays button.

- If you would like to make the quiz results view available after a specific date and time, use the Date and Time fields.
Note: If this date is in the future, students will see the Primary View (Section 1 above) up until this date.
- If you would like to limit how long a student can review a quiz, select A limited amount of time (in minutes) after submission. You will then have the option to specify the length of time using the minutes field.
